Haworth Barber & Gerstman, LLC is seeking attorneys with 4 – 7 years of experience litigating defense matters from inception to conclusion. Cases will generally involve the defense of tort matters with an emphasis on product liability and complex catastrophic torts on behalf of insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured clients. Candidates must be of the highest level and ability, among the most highly regarded associates at their current firms. Candidates should be capable of substantive, strategic analysis and client reporting as well as compliance with client litigation guidelines. Superior writing skills are required. Familiarity with the defense of product liability, construction and fire personal injury and property damage matters would be beneficial. Knowledge of insurance coverage and indemnification issues would be beneficial as well. Experience in a substantial defense practice is preferred.
