Melissa Young represents clients in the defense of litigation matters involving product liability, construction accidents and general liability. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Young served as a litigation associate representing clients in the defense of claims arising from premises liability, property damage, construction accidents and general liability.
Affiliations, Activities and Accomplishments
A graduate of the State University of New York at New Paltz, Ms. Young earned her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University, where she served as a clinical intern at the school¿s law clinic for Article 81 Adult Guardianship, representing adults in need of an appointed guardian. As a law student, Ms. Young also served as volunteer counsel for New York Civil Court¿s Access to Justice Program, assisting pro se defendants with consumer debt litigation. After law school, she went on to represented financial institutions and private investors in various real estate litigation matters.
