PRODUCT LIABILITY

The defense of product liability matters is at the core of our practice. The firm defends a broad variety of products on a regional and national level. We defend some of the largest manufacturers of medical equipment, cosmetics and recreational and children's products in the world, as well as asbestos and other toxic chemicals. Managing Partner Scott Haworth is Chairman of the Defense Research Institute's (DRI) Specialized Litigation Group focusing on Recreational Products. We are active in the various product liability committees maintained by the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).

The firm has vast experience defending heavy/industrial equipment such as cranes, press brakes, mills, extruders and other equipment typically involved in catastrophic workplace accidents. We take great pride in our up-to-date knowledge of the various regulatory regimes that govern the products we defend. Likewise, we know the standards, literature and science that apply to each individual product.
